Synopsis: Agent Lee Han-Kyu, is in charge of finding north-Korean spy, by the name Shadow, and his accomplice Song Ji-won. After an operation
to stop them goes wrong, and several agents end up dead, Agent Lee takes the fall and is fired. Ji-won on the other hands, gets blamed of being a traitor and is forced to go on the run. Six Years later Lee and Ji-won meet by chance and start working together. Even though they both recognize each other, they pretend not to, so they can spy on each other. Over time they start caring for one another, but are force to face tough decisions when Shadow resurfaces.
Going into this movie, I thought it would be an action thriller in the lines of Shiri or JSA, but this movie is nothing of that sort. It revolves around the unique relation this two have, and how despite being enemies they find themselves as equals, caring for the same things and dealing with the same problems, unexpectedly becoming like brothers. One of the best movies I’ve seen this year
