Synopsis:
Akari Yoshiyama (Riisa Naka) is a 18 year old high school student who will enter university the following year. Her mother, Kazuko (Narumi Yasuda) works as a researcher in the pharmaceutical field. Her father passed away shortly after her birth and therefore she knows very little about him.
One day her father's old friend, Goro Asakura (Masanobu Katsumura) comes for a visit and hands over an envelope containing her parents' photos taken during their high school days. There is one mysterious guy's photo who is only known to Kazuko. At the same time Kazuko got involved in an accident and falls into coma.
She temporarily regains consciousness in the hospital and remembers the person as Kazuo Fukamachi (Kanji Ishimaru), who was her first love during her high school days. Before she falls into coma again Kazuko requests Akari to search for Kazuo by travelling to the 1970s by using a secret experiment from the lab.
After travelling through mysterious space Akari finally lands on her mother's ex-high school inside a science lab and falls upon a guy called Ryota Mizorogi (Akiyoshi Nakao). The date is February 1974. She soon makes friend with Ryota and explains her presence. He then agrees to help her with the search for Kazuo.
Soon their searching adventure begins and both get along so well that romance blossoms between them and later Akari needs to return to the year of 2010. Will they find the younger Kazuo? What happen to their romance in the end? Can Kazuko regain consciousness once again?
